Earlier this week, Northwest Technology Center received notice that Tatum Ricke was selected as Certiport’s 2024 Microsoft Office Specialist US National Champion. Ricke will represent Oklahoma this summer and compete in the Microsoft Excel track at the 2024 Microsoft Office Specialist U.S. National Championship in Orlando, FL. NWTC Student Places in State Event
AJ Aguilo, a student at Northwest Technology Center and a senior at Ringwood High School placed second in the Automotive Maintenance and Light Repair event at the SkillsUSA State Competition. Aguilo is enrolled in the Auto Tech program at NWTC Fairview. Bobby Watson is the instructor for the program.

Northwest Technology Center’s Automotive Technology Program at the Fairview campus has received renewal of the Auto Service Excellence (ASE) Training Program accreditation by the ASE Education Foundation. Area Fire Fighters Graduate from FF1 Academy
Fifteen fire fighters from the Dacoma and Cherokee Volunteer Fire Departments completed the FF1 Academy last Saturday at Northwest Technology Center.
