Area Fire Fighters Graduate from FF1 Academy

Fifteen fire fighters from the Dacoma and Cherokee Volunteer Fire Departments completed the FF1 Academy last Saturday at Northwest Technology Center. The group completed the 96 hour training course last Saturday. The training started in November. Bryan Miller was the lead instructor for the academy. The academy included classroom, theory and hands-on training. The group was recognized on Saturday evening for successful completion of the academy curriculum.

Dacoma Fire Department volunteers who completed the training were: Matthew Furr, Ryan Keck, Kyle Schoeling and Eric Wiederstein. Cherokee Volunteer Fire Fighters included: Luke Hague, Matthew Jenlink, Bryan Kimminau, Bob Kimminau, Chas Patterson, Clint Ream, Tyler Rice, Caleb Roberts, Clayton Roberts, Scott Tidwell and Thomas Wessels.
