Some assessments are required to be taken before a student can enroll in a program at NWTC.  If you have questions about what assessment you may need to take prior to enrollment, please call 580.327.044 to visit with a representative from the Alva Campus or 580.227.3708  to visit with a representative at the Fairview Campus.

Alva Campus

TEAS Testing 

Student who want to enroll in the Practical Nursing program must take the TEAS test prior to enrollment.  Potential Practical Nursing students should visit with a NWTC Alva staff member, prior to requesting a TEAS Test date.  View TEAS Testing Dates to  for the Alva Campus .

WorkKeys Testing 

Students who want to enroll in programs at NWTC Alva Campus  may need to take WorkKeys exams prior to enrollment.  If you have already discussed your enrollment options with Karen Koehn, Alva Campus Counselor, and Sonja Williams, NWTC Financial Aid Director, you may inquire about a test date.  To view WorkKeys Test Dates, visit the WorkKeys Testing – Alva Campus page. Paraprofessionals WorkKeys Testing 

School employees who work or are applying to work as a paraprofessional may need to take the ACT WorkKeys exams as a requirement for employment.  If you have questions regarding the requirements for paraprofessionals, call Jessica Kriegh at 580.327.0344 or email jkriegh@nwtech.edu. There are three exams and each exam costs $12; therefore, the total cost of the WorkKeys exams will be $36. No WorkKeys testing sessions are available at this time.
