Health Careers students from Northwest Technology Center in Alva participated in the state Health Careers Students of America (HOSA) contest this week in Norman. Several students qualified to move on to the national contest in June. Students participating included: Rachel Becker, Riley Beeler, Stephanie Belt, Halah Canaan, Karlee Dietz, Crissa Edstrom, Brooklynn Faison, Calissa Fouts, Rochelle Galindo, Shanea Herren, Trishia Rodgers, Kimberly Stuck and Maira Zuniga. Beeler serves as a state officer for the HOSA group.
