NWTC Student Places First In District Auto Contest

Lucas Wagner, a Cherokee High School junior won first place in the Automotive Technology District Contest held recently at High Plains Technology Center (HPTC) in Woodward. The win qualifies Wagner to compete at the state SkillsUSA contest in April. He is pictured receiving his award from Vic Turbush, Automotive Technology instructor at HPTC. Wagner is a student in the Automotive Technology program at Northwest Technology Center in Alva. His instructor is Ron Rader.
