Northwest Technology Center has lost a member of its family. On Monday, March 13, Board of Education president and long-time board member, Dean Meyer passed away at his home in Cleo Springs. Dean had been on Northwest Technology Center’s Board of Education since 1978. Dean was a tireless supporter of Northwest Technology Center and its students. In 2008, Dean was recognized by the OSSBA as the year’s Outstanding Board Member for his service to Northwest Technology Center. Dean is survived by his wife, Karan who is a teacher in the Aline-Cleo schools. Northwest Technology Center is better because of Dean’s contributions and he will be greatly missed.
