Reminders…
- Do not log in to any Apple iCloud, Mac Mail or other personalization accounts except Google Drive (Sheets, Docs, etc.) and Gmail. Everyone uses the same Mac user account so please do not customize the user account to your settings which means do NOT add you Google profile setting. Login to gmail and then go to Apps icon then select Google Drive or a profile could automatically be created for you and the bookmarks may not be available to the next person.

NWTC Foundation Scholarship
High school juniors or seniors and adults may apply for the Spring NWTC Foundation Scholarships. To claim the scholarship, students will be required to show that they are incurring some type of educational expense for either the current semester or next summer or fall. Students may download the NWTC Foundation Scholarship application – NWTC Foundation Scholarship Application 2024. - Mileage – The current standard mileage reimbursement rate is $0.67 per mile. To calculate the expected mileage cost for the Spring 2024 semester, take the total number of miles from your house to NWTC (1801 11th Street, Alva) and multiple times 2 for both to and from school and multiply by $0.67.
Spring 2024 – Regular Travel to NWTC = 78 days x their distance to/from school
Clinical Travel = 1,144 miles (Woodward (2); Enid (3); Tulsa(1)) - Clothing, etc. – If you have to purchase certain clothing, shoes, etc for your program you may submit that cost; however, be sure you can include a receipt with the exact cost if selected for the scholarship.
Otha Grimes – Francis Tuttle Memorial Scholarships

This scholarship is available to adult students who are Oklahoma residents enrolled in a program at a Career and Technology Center. Applicants must submit applications online.
- Amount: Varies
- Deadline: Each technology center district may impose its own deadline for its respective students. Students at the NWTC Alva Campus must have applications completed by February 9, 2024 unless additional time is granted by Mrs. Sonja Williams.
- Prior to starting the Application, students should download and complete the Otha Grimes Worksheet – Fall 2022
- For students: Students should then download the Instructions before completing theApplication.
- The Enrollment Key for Northwest Tech students is wh4mpn and it is to be entered in the big box on the first page of CTYOU.org labeled Enrollment Code.
