Reminders…

Do not log in to any Apple iCloud, Mac Mail or other personalization accounts except Google Drive (Sheets, Docs, etc.) and Gmail. Everyone uses the same Mac user account so please do not customize the user account to your settings which means do NOT add you Google profile setting.  Login to gmail and then go to Apps  icon then select Google Drive or a profile could automatically be created for you and the bookmarks may not be available to the next person.

Scholarships

NWTC Foundation Scholarship – Information available at https://nwtech.edu/alvacc/nwtc-foundation-scholarship-feb25/. Students must submit the following:

  • typed application
  • copy of resume
  • letter of recommendation
  • copies of transcripts

 

Oklahoma City Community Foundation Scholarships – Students may set up a scholarship account by visiting https://occf.org/scholarships/.  This website has a variety of scholarships, not just students in the OKC area.

Shared Google Sheet with Scholarship Information  – I have shared a Google Sheet with you – https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1pDekVeFqasmQaO6o-BuJdixTaY28Cbb3/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=101254102480318574637&rtpof=true&sd=true .  You should be able to create a copy and then edit your copy.  I would also suggest you create a Scholarships folder within your Google Drive then create subfolders for each scholarship you plan to apply for so that you can organize documentation for each application.

 

The following students need to attend:

8:15 – 9:00 am session – returning students will update resume  while first year finish resumes then put in sheet protectors and put in back of notebook :
