Advertising Sales Position

The Alva Review-Courier/Newsgram is taking applications for a full-time advertising sales position. We are seeking a motivated, organized person to work with businesses, organizations and individuals to promote their products, services and events in print and on our website. Good writing, spelling skills, graphic design experience are a plus. Compensation includes hourly pay plus commission on ad sales so you effort increases your pay.

News Writing

The Alva Review-Courier/Newsgram is seeking a part-time news reporter. This position could require some night and weekend assignments covering meetings and events in the Alva and the area. Strong writing skills are a must. Applicants will be required to provide samples of their writing. Use of computer word processing programs is expected.

Tuesday Nights

Part-time work inserting, bundling and/or operating paper cutter to prepare Newsgram for delivery. 7:30 pm until finished, usually 11 pm to 1 am. Starting pay is $10 per hour.
