Alfalfa County Sheriff’s Department is looking to hire a Deputy Sheriff.

CLEET preferred, but if not CLEET Certified, the candidate must be able to pass the physical and training requirements CLEET requires. Salary starts at $3,060 per month, with a raise given upon completion of CLEET and a six-month probationary period.

Candidate must be 21 years of age or older and high school diploma or GED is required. The candidate must be willing to relocate to Alfalfa County within 30 days of hire.

Benefits include Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, and Retirement beginning the first day of the month following the hire date: Eighty hours of vacation leave after one year of service; eight hours or sick leave earned per month, eight hours of holiday leave earned if on-call for that holiday.
