Two Northwest Technology Center students enrolled in the Construction Trades program had top finishes at the recent SkillsUSA contest held earlier this week. Kory Schnoebelen and Dalton Terry both finished in the top three in the state contest.
Schnoebelen came away as the State Champion in the Oklahoma SkillsUSA Electrical Construction Wiring event, post-secondary division. He was awarded many prizes as state champion. These include tools, clothing and many other items donated to SkillsUSA by companies supporting the contest. Schnoebelen will represent Oklahoma and Northwest Technology Center at the National Contest later this summer. He is originally from Mooreland.
Terry placed third in the SkillsUSA Electrical Construction Wiring event, post secondary division this week. Terry was also awarded numerous prizes as a result of his third place finish. Terry is from Waynoka.
