Last month, the HOSA Parlimentary Procedure Team from Northwest Technology Center was named the State Champion in the Parli-Pro event at the state HOSA Contest. This week the team participated in the International HOSA Competition. The students recorded a video of their proceeding and submitted it to the international competition. The results will be released later this summer. Those competing included: (back row l to r) Lisa Turner, Abbi Hall, Lauren Lancaster, Coby Noland, Destiny TeLinde, (front row l to r) Madison Webb-Hall and Anastacia Harper. Not pictured is Carmen Montoya. All of these students graduated from Alva High School last week and were enrolled in the BioMedical Sciences II program at NWTC. Kala Mead is the instructor for the program and also worked with the students on this event.
