This career option prepares adult students to become licensed cosmetologist instructors. Students will be prepared for employment in the cosmetology field by teaching the curriculum, skills and work behaviors governed by the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology and Barbering. Students practice hair cutting and styling, coloring and permanent waving, as well as performing facials and performing manicures and pedicures. Students learn about laws, management, record keeping, developing courses and curriculum, and teaching and assisting in the classroom.

Certifications/Credentials: Students are eligible to test for the Cosmetologist Master Instructor certification upon completion of the program.
