Tambi Brown joined the team at Northwest Tech just a few weeks ago as the Small Business Development Coordinator. Prior to coming to Northwest Tech, Brown has worked with small businesses for over 23 years. She is a previous Regional Sales Manager for Cellular One/AT&T before going to work at Autry Technology Center in Enid as the Small Business Development Coordinator and later as the Assistant Director of Business and Industry Services. Brown has expertise and a passion for small businesses. She and her husband also owned and operated a small business for 17 years.

“My vision is that I am able to offer Small Business & Entrepreneurial Services to all areas of our district without the huge cost that is normally associated with business coaching and consulting.” said Brown. “The fact that I have an office on each of the Northwest Tech campuses will definitely be more convenient for anyone interested in using my services. I will also be out in our communities so I will be able to sit down with clients at their place of business as well. It is very important to me that I am flexible and able to meet with clients face-to-face in person, face-to-face virtually, by phone, and/or by email.”

Brown can help small business clients whether the client is needing one-on-one business coaching or a specialized small business training, Her goal is to provide a customized solution to fill the need.
Brown is certified as a Human Resource Generalist, QuickBooks ProAdvisor, GrowthWheel Advisor, and has completed the certification for the International Business Incubation Management program as well.

Brown grew up in Waynoka graduating in 1992. She received a B.S. degree from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. She completed her M.B.A. in December of 2020 through Southeastern Oklahoma State University. She and her husband Billy have been married for 26 years and have three grown children, Taggart Brown, Brenli Brown Dobrinski and Taelyn Brown.
