Students enrolled in NWTC’s Practical Nursing program had good results in the competitive events held at the state HOSA contest last week in Norman. Practical Nursing students compete in the post-secondary or adult division.

Anai Guerra and Cheyenne Littrell placed 4th in the Health Career Display event. Amanda Leach placed 4th in the Pharmacology Knowledge event. Placing 4th in the Public Service Announcement, event were Natasha Finnegan, Katie Moore, Roxanne Lambert and Rachel Henson.

NWTC’s Practical Nursing program is taught by Diane Duffy and Tara Thomas. Applications are now being accepted for the PN program which will begin next fall.
