Healthcare careers are in high demand! Northwest Technology Center’s Health Careers Certification Program has been recognized by the Oklahoma Association of Career and Technology Educators as one of the best of its kind!
The program focuses on student goals and allows each participant to create a clearly defined plan of individual study. Each student will work with the instructor to complete a “program prescription” which will identify the program core and Career Option(s) the student will pursue. Students also participate in basic skills enhancement and activities that encourage leadership development. After successful completion of the program, students are eligible to take the appropriate state or national certification examination as well as earn college credit toward associate’s and bachelor’s degrees.
