The program is specifically focused on students who want to pursue a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM).<br \/>\nBe sure to read details as to which majors do not qualify for assistance.\u00a0 Quoted from website: \u201cWhile we have high regard for these fields of study, our scholarship program is not intended for degree programs in the medical services field (including, but not limited to, veterinary medicine, nursing, dermatology, speech therapy, physical therapy and\/or nurse practitioners).\u00a0 However, medical research fields such as biomedical chemistry are included.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The scholarship program intends to grant up to $5000 each in scholarship awards to qualified and deserving students. 2025\/26 awards will be announced in May 2025. The recipients of this scholarship will receive a $1,000 cash award to be used at an eligible Oklahoma career technology center, two-year college, or four-year university. This scholarship is open to first-time freshmen with at least a 3.0 high school GPA and whose family income does not exceed $75,000.
