Everyone uses the same Mac user account so <em><strong>please do not customize the user account to your settings which means do NOT add you Google profile setting<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 <em><strong>Login to gmail and then go to Apps\u00a0 icon then select Google Drive<\/strong> <\/em>or a profile could automatically be created for you and the bookmarks may not be available to the next person.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate and Activity<\/strong><\/p>\n<div class=\"vc_column-inner \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<div>\n<p class=\" \">The ACT National Career Readiness Certificate is an industry-recognized, portable, research-based credential that certifies essential skills needed for workplace success.<\/p>\n<p class=\" \">This credential is used across all sectors of the economy and documents the following cognitive skills:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Problem-solving.<\/li>\n<li>Critical thinking.<\/li>\n<li>Reading and using work-related text.<\/li>\n<li>Applying information from workplace documents to solve problems.<\/li>\n<li>Applying mathematical reasoning to work-related problems.<\/li>\n<li>Setting up and performing work-related mathematical calculations.<\/li>\n<li>Locating, synthesizing, and applying information that is presented graphically.<\/li>\n<li>Comparing, summarizing, and analyzing information presented in multiple related graphics<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"vc_row wpb_row vc_row-fluid\">\n<div class=\"wpb_column vc_column_container vc_col-sm-12\">\n<div class=\"vc_column-inner \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<div class=\"wpb_text_column wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p>WorkKeys assessments measure real-world skills that employers believe are critical to job success. wpb_content_element \">\n<div class=\"wpb_wrapper\">\n<p><strong>Certificate Levels<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Individuals can earn four levels of certifications by taking the three WorkKeys\u00ae assessments.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Bronze<\/strong> Level \u2013 Signifies an individual has scored at least a <strong>Level 3<\/strong> on each of the three assessments and has the necessary skills for 16% of the jobs in the WorkKeys Job Pro database.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Silver<\/strong> Level \u2013 Signifies an individual has scored at least a <strong>Level 4<\/strong> on each of the three assessments and has the necessary skills for 67% of the jobs on the WorkKeys Job Pro database.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Gold<\/strong> Level \u2013 Signifies an individual has scored at least a <strong>Level 5<\/strong> on each of the three assessments and has the necessary skills for 93% of the jobs on the WorkKeys Job Pro database.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Platinum<\/strong> Level \u2013 Signifies an individual has scored at least a <strong>Level 6<\/strong> on each of the three assessments and has the necessary skills for 99% of the jobs on the WorkKeys Job Pro database.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><strong>Score Comparison Activity &#8211; Document in Shared Google Drive Folder<\/strong><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"\">We will discuss how your scores on the three assessments compare to minimum suggested scores for different occupations.\u00a0 I have put your WorkKeys Score Reports in a Shared Google Drive folder that I created for you.\u00a0 The folder on the Shared Drive has your first and last name and AlvaCC2024.\u00a0 Can you access the Shared Google Drive folder I created?\u00a0 If not ask me for assistance.\u00a0 I have added a file named WorkKeys Completion Assignment to the shared folder I created for you.\u00a0 Open the file using Google Docs then complete the requested information.\u00a0 Ask questions if you need assistance.\u00a0 When you have completed the WorkKeys Completion Assignment, print one copy and put it in sheet protectors in your black notebook on the shelves.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3>Resumes<\/h3>\n<p>The following documents have been added to the Shared Folder I created for you in Google Drive:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>NWTC Resume Template<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will need to create a resume that includes the following sections:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Heading (Name, Address, Phone Number, Email Address)<\/li>\n<li>Objective<\/li>\n<li>Education \u2013 high school, Northwest Tech, and NWOSU if it applies<\/li>\n<li>Work Experience \u2013 paid or unpaid experience<\/li>\n<li>Organizations and Activities \u2013 be sure to include Business Professionals of America because all NWTC Computer and Business and Digital Design students are members and\u2026 if you are a member of the NWTC Superintendents Leadership Class be sure to add it.<\/li>\n<li>Certifications\/Licenses \u2013 be sure to include ACT WorkKeys Career Readiness Certificate if you passed all three exams.<\/li>\n<li>Honors and Achievements \u2013 be sure to include NWTC Perfect attendance for Quarter or NWTC Student of the Quarter<\/li>\n<li>Community Service<\/li>\n<li>Skills \u2013 must list computer skills as well as other applicable skills<\/li>\n<li>References \u2013 must have 3 that are not friends or family\u2026 must be teachers, coaches, employers, youth leaders, sponsors, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Examples of computer skills for resumes:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create and edit MS Word and Google Docs<\/li>\n<li>Create and edit
