Everyone uses the same Mac user account so <em><strong>please do not customize the user account to your settings which means do NOT add you Google profile setting<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 <em><strong>Login to gmail and then go to Apps\u00a0 icon then select Google Drive<\/strong> <\/em>or a profile could automatically be created for you and the bookmarks may not be available to the next person.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h3>Scholarships<\/h3>\n<p>In addition to the scholarships I post, be sure to check out <a href=\"http:\/\/UCango2.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">UCango2.org<\/a> for additional opportunites.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NWTC Foundation Scholarship<\/strong> &#8211; High school juniors or seniors and adults may apply for the Spring NWTC Foundation Scholarships.\u00a0\u00a0<span class=\"s1\">To claim the scholarship, students will be required to show that they are incurring some type of educational expense for either the current semester or next summer or fall.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>Students may download the NWTC Foundation Scholarship application \u2013\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nwtech.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/NWTC-Foundation-Scholarship-App-Fillable-2024.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">NWTC Foundation Scholarship Application 2024<\/a>. For more information about filling out the scholarship, visit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nwtech.edu\/alvacc\/nwtc-foundation-scholarship-2-09-24\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/nwtech.edu\/alvacc\/nwtc-foundation-scholarship-2-09-24\/<\/a>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Mileage \u2013 The current standard mileage reimbursement rate is $0.67 per mile. To calculate the expected mileage cost for the Spring 2024 semester, take the total number of miles from your house to NWTC (1801 11th Street, Alva) and multiple times 2 for both to and from school and multiply by $0.67 times (89 days in Spring semester 2024\u00a0 &#8211; PN could be different).<\/li>\n<li>Clothing, etc. \u2013 If you have to purchase certain clothing, shoes, etc for your program you may submit that cost; however, be sure you can include a receipt with the exact cost required for your program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Otha Grimes Scholarship<\/strong> &#8211;\u00a0This scholarship is available to\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><em>adult<\/em><\/span>\u00a0students who are Oklahoma residents enrolled in a program at a Career and Technology Center.\u00a0Applicants must submit applications online. Applications must be submitted by February 9, 2024. Adults will need information from Mrs. Williams regarding any financial aid they may receive as well as the cost of tuition and fees.
