  1. Do not log in to any Apple iCloud, Mac Mail or other personalization accounts except Google Drive (Sheets, Docs, etc.) and Gmail. Everyone uses the same Mac user account so please do not customize the user account to your settings which means do NOT add you Google profile setting<\/strong><\/em>.\u00a0 Login to gmail and then go to Apps\u00a0 icon then select Google Drive<\/strong> <\/em>or a profile could automatically be created for you and the bookmarks may not be available to the next person.<\/li>\n
  2. This year\u2026 no rotating computers if possible! I will document which computer you are setting at. This will be important if anyone gets sick and we need documentation of who they have sat by.<\/li>\n
  3. Scholarship information –\u00a0http:\/\/nwtech.edu\/alvacc\/scholarship-tips\/<\/a> – is available at under the Enhancement menu on the Career Center website at www.nwtech.edu\/alvacc<\/a>. You may select Scholarships from the Categories option at the right side of the Career Center page to filter out all announcements related to scholarships<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Since we have Student of the Quarter assemblies today, I will have students work on resumes this week instead of taking any ACT WorkKeys exams. \u00a0We\u2019ll continue the exams next week. Some students may not have many updates to make and some may not get finished today.<\/div>\n

    The following students need to attend Career Center on Friday, October 20. \u00a0Aaron Jones does not need to attend since he completed his resume a few weeks ago. \u00a0The returning students just need to make updates and then print again.<\/div>\n

      Virtual Job Shadow Login Instructions<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

      Staff and students of the Northwest Tech Campus \u2013 Alva may access their user accounts at\u00a0https:\/\/www.virtualjobshadow.com\/login\/AC5760\/users\/?<\/a><\/strong>. Students will use the same username and password as used for WorkKeys assessments. Usernames (except for a few students) will be your FirstnameLastname. Your password will be a six digit number representing your birthdate such as 020503 if you were born on February 5, 2003. If you need assistance with your username and password, please let Mrs. Frascht know.\u00a0 Usernames and passwords should be recorded in the Passwords Google Sheet I have provided in the Google Drive folder I have Shared with you for the Career Center.<\/p>\n

      Complete the Which Personality Type Are You? 16Personalities.com\u00a0 Assignment in VirtualJobShadow.com.<\/p>\n

      1. Be sure to follow the steps of the assignment in Virtual Job Shadow and have the results of the 16Personalities.com survey sent to your email address so we can refer back to the results later!!<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Print your results of the survey that was sent to your email.<\/li>\n
      3. Create a PDF file of the results and save in your folder on the desktop.<\/li>\n
      4. Upload the PDF file to the shared Google Drive folder I created for you.<\/li>\n
      5. Print the results of the VJS assignment after it is submitted and downloaded.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
