Just a reminder…. do NOT log in with Google Profile…. go to gmail.com or drive.google.com to log in please.\u00a0 If you log in to Google Profile there is a big chance it will mess up all bookmarks I have made available for students.<\/p>\n

Scholarships<\/h3>\n

I will periodically post scholarship information given to me.\u00a0 You may view the scholarship information on the Career Center website (www.nwtech.edu\/alvacc) by selecting Announcements on the menu then in the Categories box at the right of the page selecting the Scholarships box.\u00a0 It may take a few seconds to load. You will have to click on the heading for each individual post to view all the information regarding a scholarship posted.<\/p>\n

Students should have completed and printed\u00a0 a resume, cover letter, and envelope, job application assignments.\u00a0 If you need assistance with the resume or cover letter, you will need to refer back to an older announcement\u00a0http:\/\/nwtech.edu\/alvacc\/auto-tech-12-10-21\/<\/a>.\u00a0 If you need information regarding the job application work or the 16Personalities.com assignment, check the http:\/\/nwtech.edu\/alvacc\/auto-tech-1-28-22\/<\/a> announcement.\u00a0 \u00a0I realize the afternoon students have a much shorter time period for Career Center but I still want you to complete many activities. Thank you for staying on task so we can accomplish as much as possible during the short time period.\u00a0 If you have completed all the above work, you will need to complete the Virtual Job Shadow Interviewing Tips and Tricks assignment which includes answering questions a Google Doc I added the folder I shared with you on Google Drive.\u00a0 Please ask for assistance if you cannot find the Interview Questions in that folder.<\/p>\n

  2. Enter your information into the\u00a0 job application using Adobe Acrobat \u2013\u00a0ask your instructor for help if needed. Do\u00a0NOT\u00a0complete the information within a browser window.\u00a0 Do Not put your real social security or driver\u2019s license numbers.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Print a copy of your completed job application and place it in your black binder.<\/li>\n
  4. Upload a copy of your completed job application to the Shared Folder I created for you in Google Drive.<\/li>\n
