Just a reminder…. do NOT log in with Google Profile…. go to gmail.com or drive.google.com to log in please.<\/p>\n

Scholarships<\/h3>\n

I will periodically post scholarship information given to me.\u00a0 You may view the scholarship information on the Career Center website (www.nwtech.edu\/alvacc) by selecting Announcements on the menu then in the Categories box at the right of the page selecting the Scholarships box.\u00a0 It may take a few seconds to load. You will have to click on the heading for each individual post to view all the information regarding a scholarship posted.<\/p>\n

Students should have completed and printed\u00a0 a resume, cover letter, envelope, job application (except afternoon students who will be starting the job application assignments).\u00a0 If you need assistance with the resume or cover letter, you will need to refer back to an older announcement –\u00a0http:\/\/nwtech.edu\/alvacc\/electrical-trades-12-10-21\/<\/a><\/p>\n

If you are starting the job application assignment today, be sure to ask me for help with downloading and saving to the correct location before you start entering information.<\/strong><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

If you will be starting the Virtual Job Shadow 16 Personalities.com.\u00a0 Be sure to send your results to your email so we can refer back to the results later!!<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n

8:10 – 8:55 am – Dayson and Caleb need to complete the VJS Job Application assignment (already printed application just need to do VJS part) before starting the 16Personalities.com assignment. Adrian, Sebastion, Kabir, Jace, Keaton, and Lakin need to start the VJS 16 Personalities.com assignment.<\/p>\n

9:00 – 9:45 am – No students need to attend.\u00a0 Bryce, Bronc, Drake, Chris, Sylus, Dustin, and Logan completed the 16Personalities.com assignment last year.<\/p>\n

Students will use the same username and password as used for WorkKeys assessments. Usernames (except for a few students) will be your FirstnameLastname. Your password will be a six digit number representing your birthdate such as 020503 if you were born on February 5, 2003. If you need assistance with your username and password, please let Mrs. Frascht know.\u00a0 Usernames and passwords should be recorded in the Passwords Google Sheet I have provided in the Google Drive folder I have Shared with you for the Career Center.<\/p>\n

  1. Download the\u00a0job application<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0save the file to\u00a0your\u00a0folder on the desktop \u2013 ASK MRS. FRASCHT FOR HELP! This step is critical in order for your application to be able to be located and edited in the future!<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Enter your information into the\u00a0 job application using Adobe Acrobat \u2013\u00a0ask your instructor for help if needed. Do\u00a0NOT\u00a0complete the information within a browser window.\u00a0 Do Not put your real social security or driver\u2019s license numbers.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Print a copy of your completed job application and place it in your black binder.<\/li>\n
  4. Upload a copy of your completed job application to the Shared Folder I created for you in Google Drive.<\/li>\n
  5. Complete and print the Complete a Job Application Assignment on VirtualJobShadow.com.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
