Good Afternoon!<\/span><\/div>\n
I hope you are doing well and that 2022 is off to a great start. My name is Anna Litton, and I work with Pre-College Programs (<\/span>Concurrent Enrollment<\/span><\/a>,<\/span>Sooner Discovery<\/span><\/a>, and<\/span>Start Sooner<\/span><\/a>) at the University of Oklahoma, which allow students to connect with the Universityas early as the summer after their sophomore year of high school<\/i><\/b>.<\/span>Our office wanted to reconnect regarding information on summer and pre-college programs available to your students at the University of Oklahoma, as well as a scholarship opportunity for our Sooner Discovery program.<\/span><\/div>\n
If you are no longer the correct contact for or affiliated with your school for this information, please let me know.<\/span><\/b><\/div>\n
As a general overview, I\u2019ve attached an infographic with quick facts about our three offered programs for 2022. I hope this will be of use as a quick reference regarding program dates, application\/registration details, and more. Please feel free to share this infographic with students and families.<\/span><\/div>\n
Similarly<\/span><\/span>to the fall semester,our office will be hosting spring webinars and one-on-one meetings with more information on the Concurrent Enrollment, Sooner Discovery, and Start Sooner programs.<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n
Spring webinars will be held at on February 9, March 10, April 6, and May 5 and students can sign up for the first webinarhere<\/a><\/b>.<\/span><\/div>\n
If interested, I would also love to schedule a time for our team to visit your school \u2013 virtually or in person \u2013 and spend time speaking with your students or yourself about our programs.<\/span><\/b>However, if you do not have time or space for a visit, I am able to send an email that can be forwarded to parents and students.<\/span><\/div>\n
Finally, please keep in mind that students accepted to theSooner Discovery<\/a>program are eligible to receive up to two scholarships. Oklahoma high school counselors have the power to selectone<\/b>student from their high school to receive a $500 scholarship for program attendance. Counselors may nominate a studenthere<\/a>. Additionally, the Financial Assistance Scholarship is up to $750 in value and can be applied forhere<\/a>.<\/span><\/div>\n
