In addition, this position responds to after hour emergency call out via rotating on call schedule. <\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><b>Closing Date: <\/b>Tuesday, April 6, 2021<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><span class=\"p2\"><b>Essential Job Functions: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Provides technical phone support for broadband, video and other related services.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Provisions and troubleshoots various network devices using internal tools and command line functionality.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Reads maps showing network infrastructure and makes recommendations based upon the information shown.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Creates and maintains accurate customer records.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Responds to after hour emergency call out via rotating on call schedule.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Commits to performing job tasks in a manner that ensures a safe work environment.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">\u2022 class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li6\">\u2022 High school diploma or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">\u2022 Must, <i>at minimum, <\/i>meet the Certification and Training requirements of the Tier II Technician III listed at the bottom of this opening.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p2\"><b>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Knowledge of IP networking, multicast IP, and color code.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Knowledge of Windows operating systems, UNIX, and LINUX.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Knowledge of computer networking, file management, hardware, software, Internet protocols, routing, and communication principals and their application.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Proficient in operating a personal computer and software application pertaining to job function.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Knowledge of company products\/services, policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Knowledge of Pioneer\u2019s broadband products and services.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Ability to interact by phone clearly, efficiently and successfully for an extended period of time.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Good listening, verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Skill in prioritizing, completing multiple tasks, identifying problems and finding resolutions.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Ability to communicate with customers, co-workers and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Ability to work independently, analyze technical data and make sound decisions using information at hand.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing technical class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Able and willing to be on call and work extended hours, weekends and holidays.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">\u2022 Able and willing to continue technical skill development and attend training away from home for extended periods of time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p2\"><b>Physical Requirements: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Sitting or standing for extended periods, walking, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity including close vision.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Occasionally may be required to lift up to 50 lbs.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 May be required occasionally to stoop, kneel or bend.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li4\">\u2022 Must be able to distinguish colors.<\/li>\n<li <\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\"><b>Tier II Technician III: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li6\">\u2022 0 to 1 year of experience in related field<\/li>\n<li class=\"li6\">\u2022 Must acquire training in Adtran products within 24 months.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li6\">\u2022 Must acquire training in Calix products within 24 months.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">\u2022 Must acquire <span class=\"s5\">CompTIA Network+ <\/span>within 24 months and maintain certification until a higher certification is acquired.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p2\"><b>Tier II Technician IV: <\/b><\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li6\">\u2022 Minimum two (2) years of experience in related field<\/li>\n<li class=\"li6\">\u2022 Must acquire Wireshark Training.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li6\">\u2022 Must acquire or possess a current <span class=\"s5\">CompTIA Linux+ <\/span>or <span class=\"s5\">CompTIA A+ <\/span>certification and maintain the certification.<span class=\"s6\">1 <\/span><\/li>\n<li class=\"li2\">\u2022 Must acquire or possess a current <span class=\"s5\">CWNP-CWTS <\/span>certification and maintain the certification until a higher certification is acquired.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p
