Job Responsibilities\/Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n Develops, communicates, enforces and monitors effective Service Department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction<\/p>\n Schedules and assigns jobs to employees in the Service Department according to their skills and knowledge<\/p>\n Reviews work orders for completeness and accuracy prior to customer billing; goal is to treat customers fairly, yet efficiently recover our time & material<\/p>\n Executes Service Department marketing plan (promotions, specials, packages, etc.) and monitors monthly to ensure achievement of departmental goals<\/p>\n Manages recruiting, staffing and employee development activities for employees reporting to this position<\/p>\n Submits all service warranty and PIP claims with necessary information within the required timeframe to receive maximum credits<\/p>\n Creates an annual Service Department Goals, in alignment with the organization\u2019s financial and operational objectives<\/p>\n Ensures all departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles are in good working order and inventory is accurate<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Experience, Skills, and Knowledge:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n 3+ years\u2019 experience in Service Department Operations<\/p>\n Ability to use standard desktop load applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions<\/p>\n Ability to write and speak effectively to individuals and groups<\/p>\n Familiar with John Deere competitive produces<\/p>\n Basic understanding of financial principals relative to Service Department operations<\/p>\n Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports<\/p>\n Ability to work extended hours<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Western Equipment has an opening for a Service Manager.
