Must be personable with patients and adhere to strict confidentiality. Specimen collection including phlebotomy will be a daily requirement of the position and while it can be taught on the job, it is a preferred skill. Daily duties include Collecting, preparing and analyzing patient samples as well as reviewing\/finalizing patient reports. Handles and maintains laboratory equipment including minor repairs, calibrations, quality control and generalized troubleshooting.
