  1. My name is Mrs. Frascht \u2013 pronounced like Frost.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Always check in with your program instructor before coming to Career Center, especially if your Career Center session is at the beginning of the day or immediately after lunch.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Seating \u2013 pick a seat to sit at all semester.  No changing computers thru the semester if possible.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. You may wipe down keyboards and mouse before using if you wish\u2026don\u2019t rely on someone else to sanitize the area for you.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Computer log ins \u2013 passwords for alvacc users on computers are alvacc and the computer number displayed on bottom left corner of monitor such as alvacc01.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  6. If prompted, do not run any updates on the computers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  7. Only use Chrome for a browser during Career Center. Do not change any settings within Google Chrome.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  8. You will use Gmail and Google Drive within the browser to login but do NOT use the Chrome profile button<\/em>. <\/strong>Confusing I know but there is a difference in what happens to the saved bookmarks. Do not log in to any Apple iCloud, Mac Mail or other personalization accounts except Google Drive (Sheets, Docs, etc.) and Gmail. Everyone uses the same Mac user account so please do not customize the user account to your settings which means do NOT add you Google profile setting. <\/strong> Do NOT change the Apple ID, Microsoft User or Adobe User account  or computer setting<\/em>s. Are you able to log in to the Google Drive folder I created for you?<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  9. The Career Center is website \u2013 www.nwtech.edu\/alvacc\/<\/a>. I will have announcements each week for you to refer to for instructions on the activities and necessary websites.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  10. Scholarships \u2013 will be listed on Career Center website.  Assistance with applications may be available.<\/li>\n\n\n\n

  12. Learning Styles<\/strong><\/em> \u2013 Students will complete a learning styles activity at *** https:\/\/learningstylequiz.com\/<\/a> ***.
    When you complete the questionnaire be sure to enter your Northwest Tech or school email address so the results are emailed to you!! <\/span><\/em>
    I will also have you create a PDF file<\/em> that you will store in a designated location on the computer.
    After sending your results to your email and saving them on the hard drive in your class folder and then the folder with your name, you will then upload to the Google Drive folder I created for you. I will share the results with your instructor.
    I will print a copy<\/em> of the results for you.
    There are three basic learning styles: Visual, Auditory, and Kinesthetic (Tactile). There are 16 personality based learning styles (can be compared to the 16Personalities.com website). You may learn more about both the learning styles and personality styles at     https:\/\/learningstylequiz.com\/learning-styles\/<\/a>.

  13. WorkKeys testing \u2013 Students will complete three ACT WorkKeys Career Readiness exams \u2013 Graphic Literacy, Workplace Documents, and Applied Math. For more information, visit http:\/\/nwtech.edu\/alvacc\/workkeys\/<\/a>. Your login username is usually your first and last name all lowercase and not spaces. Your password is the six digit number representing your birthdate such as 010907 for January 9, 2007. I had to use a different format for a few of you. I will have you log in and complete any of the information I did not complete for you on your Profile. Do NOT change any information I entered without visiting with me first.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Complete Learning and Personality Styles and 1) email to yourself, 2) save on the Desktop inside the Alvacc2026-2027 folder in the Digital folder in a folder with your first and last name and 3) upload to the Shared Google Drive folder for Career Center either today or next week.
