Enrollment Processes


High school enrollment is coordinated through the NWTC Career Counselor and partner school counselors. Individual student interviews are scheduled and the enrollment and application processes are conducted. Potential adult students and homeschool students should contact a NWTC counselor to schedule an appointment for assessments, interview, and enrollment process. The Adult Student Enrollment Checklist can be downloaded and used as a process guide for potential adult students.

Enrollment Process:

Step 1

Step 2:

From the links below, complete and submit the appropriate application which is a requirement to be considered for admission. For high school students, the application must be signed by the student’s parent or legal guardian, as well as the high school principal or counselor. Homeschool applications require parent or legal guardian signature. High school transcript, copy of high school diploma, GED or homeschool equivalency must be submitted with the completed application.

Step 3:

All adult students are required to complete WorkKeys and Interest Inventory assessments which are administered by the Career Center Coordinators at each campus.

Step 4:

All adult students are required to meet with Financial Aid as part of the enrollment process. Prospective students are encouraged to file for financial aid. Please visit the Financial Aid page for more information.

Complete the “Free Application for Federal Student Aid” (FAFSA) online at www.fafsa.gov.

  • Identify NWTC as your school code choice on the FAFSA application.
  • NWTC Federal Code for both the Alva and Fairview Campuses is 026000.

Step 5:

Submit all required documents (such as diploma/HiSET, transcripts, etc.)  to the desired campus.  The NWTC Alva Campus is located at 1801 11th Street, Alva, OK 73717.  The NWTC Fairview Campus is located at 801 Vo-Tech Drive, Fairview, OK 73737.
