ASE Entry-Level certification tests are available for the Northwest Tech Auto Tech and Collision Repair students.<\/p>\n<p>Auto Tech students may take exams in the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Brakes, Electrical\/Electronic Systems<\/li>\n<li>Engine Performance<\/li>\n<li>Engine Repair<\/li>\n<li>Suspension and Steering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Collision Repair student may take exams in the following areas:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Non-structural Analysis and Damage Repair<\/li>\n<li>Painting and Refinishing<\/li>\n<li>Structural Analysis and Damage Repair<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><em><strong>Candidates are eligible for one and only one retest attempt for any or all ASE Entry-level certification tests completed during the academic year<\/strong><\/em> (July 1 through the following June 30) provided such retest attempt is scheduled<em><strong> 30 days or more from test completion date of the first attempt.<\/strong> <\/em>Retest attempts must be completed on or before the last day of the academic year (June 30) in which the first attempt was completed<\/p>\n<p>Visit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ase.com\/entry-level\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/www.ase.com\/entry-level\/<\/a> for more information and student testing.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] The National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Entry-Level certification tests are designed to indicate a satisfactory level of practical knowledge-based readiness for the workforce in candidates seeking a career in the automotive service industry.
