This scholarship is available to adult students who are Oklahoma residents enrolled in a program at a Career and Technology Center. Applicants must submit applications online.
- Amount: Varies
- Deadline: Each technology center district may impose its own deadline for its respective students. Students at the NWTC Alva Campus must have applications completed by 4 pm on Wednesday, January 26, 2022.

- The Enrollment Key for Northwest Tech students is wh4mpn and it is to be entered in the big box on the first page of CTYOU.org labeled Enrollment Code. (Do not use Scholarship-NWTC because that was the Fall 2021 code.)
Information needed in the past included:
- All sources of financial aid and scholarships. You may need to get this information from Sonja Williams, Financial Aid Director.
- Amount of tuition and fees for your program which is dependent on full time or part time status. Tuition and fees is listed on the NWTC website at https://nwtech.edu/student-services/financial-aid-tuition/ or by looking at individual program or career option pages which you can get to from https://nwtech.edu/classes/career-programs/alva-campus-full-time-programs/.
- Mileage to and from the Alva Campus. You will need to know the number of days in the spring semester (different for Practical Nursing).
- The NWTC Alva Campus calendar is available at https://nwtech.edu/about-nwtc/calendars/.
- For all students except Practical Nursing, there are 90 days in the Spring 22 semester.
- You will have to calculate the number of miles you drive from home to the Alva Campus (1801 11th Street, Alva, OK) if you wish to submit mileage. Remember that is doubled if you drive to and from within a day. It is easiest to use Mapquest – https://www.mapquest.com/directions – to calculate this and then it is verified and not an estimate.
- You will use the IRS Standard Mileage Rates for 2022 – https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/irs-issues-standard-mileage-rates-for-2022 – to calculate mileage which is $0.585 for 2022. So you would take # of days x miles per day x 0.585 to get the amount you are submitting for mileage (if you choose to include mileage).
