At this point you should have completed the Learning Styles Inventory and Assessment (Google form). You should have created a PDF and saved it in the Shared folder in Google Drive as well as the folder on your computer hard drive AND print a copy of the Learning Styles Inventory and place in your Portfolio (black binder). Also upload a copy to the My Documents section of your OkCareerGuide account.
You should have also taken all three of the WorkKeys assessments. I have placed a Score Report file in the Shared folder on the Google Drive for each of you. So how do your scores relate to occupations you are interested in? To find out more about specific careers and their skills requirements, check out the ACT job profiles database.
You can also learn more about each individual assessment thru the links below:

You also should have created an account with OkCareerGuide and taken the following assessments:
- Kuder Career Interests Assessment: This assessment connects students top interests to career paths. Students rate how much they would like or dislike each activity. When students are finished with the assessment, their highest interests will be matched with careers that they may enjoy. Upon completion of this assessment, a report is generated which lists five “Top Career Pathways” based on the students responses. Students should click the “Print Report” button to create a PDF file (ask instructor for help) which will need to be saved to their Shared Google folder that the instructor has created for them.
- Kuder Skills Confidence Assessment: This tool assessed what students believe they are good at doing. Students rate how confident they are that they can accomplish each activity. When they are finished, they review the skills they have and explore careers that need those skills.
- Super Work Values Inventory: Students rate how important work-related values are to them. When they are finished, their values will be matched with careers that they may enjoy.
Your assessment results will show you what your interests, skills and work values are and how to apply them to a career plan for your future. I will create a PDF file of the One Page Report Summary of your results from the three assessments. I will print a copy for you and place a copy in your Career Center 2019 folder that I shared with you on Google Drive. Place a copy of the results in your portfolio. Also upload a copy to the My Documents section of your OkCareerGuide account. Which of the 6 Career Fields are most dominant on your results? Which Career Clusters are most dominant on your results?
I have either added a MS Word file named iCAP Planning Document Part 1 to the Shared Folder for Career Center on the Google Drive or provided you a link to the MS Word file and save it to your folder in the Documents folder on the hard drive of the computer you are using. Enter the requested information as you complete the iCAP planning activities using the OK Career Guide you create. Returning students will complete the activity and MS Word document using the account they created last year or create a new one this year. There is a link to the OK Career Guide website under the Enhancement menu. Be sure to print one copy of the completed iCAP Planning Document and place in your portfolio. Also upload a copy into the My Documents section of OKCareerGuide.

There is information about how the certificate levels are determined on the WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certificate page of this website. Be sure to print the document when you are finished and place it in your print Portfolio. Also upload a copy into the My Documents section of OKCareerGuide.
