MACH Resources has an opening for a Compressor Mechanic.

This position is responsible for performing basic/major maintenance functions, procedures, activities and responsibilities with working on gas compression packages. Motivated self-starter capable of working independently with proper direction under direct supervision.

• Assist in diagnosing engine/compressor failures accurately and efficiently.
• Proficiently operate a computer on a daily basis by submitting service reports, timesheets, and other paperwork. Commonly using Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Internet Explorer, etc.
• Perform all duties in accordance with Mach’s Environmental, Health, and Safety rules and regulations.
• Learn and execute proper safety precautions
• Perform preventative maintenance duties and repairs on compressors independently

Must have mechanical aptitudeMust possess a basic understanding of Compressor and Production Equipment types, models, and theory of operationKnowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of basic enginesAbility to perform on the job trainingAbility to work well in a team environmentStrong problem solving and communication skillsAbility to analyze information and evaluate the best resultsAbility to provide preventative and corrective field mechanical service on gas compression. Must demonstrate knowledge of proper purging and loading practices/procedures on compressors/enginesAbility to possess a valid driver’s licenseAbility to understand and follow instructions in written, oral or diagram form.
