Oklahoma State Fair Scholarship
Deadline: March 26, 2021
Established in 2002, the Oklahoma State Fair Scholarship Program has provided nearly $250,000 to deserving and qualified Oklahoma youth through annual, individual awards of $2,500 each. Beginning in 2015, the program selects 10 winners to receive a one-time award of $2,500.

AFSA High School Senior College Scholarship Contest
Deadline: April 1, 2021
This scholarship is open to 2020-2021 high school seniors who want to pursue a college degree or trade school education. Home schooled students may apply as long as their course of study is equivalent to that of a senior in high school. Students may enter for the chance to win one of 10 $2,000 college scholarships. The American Fire Sprinkler Association created the college scholarship program to help with the educational and training pursuits of students just like you. In addition, AFSA wants to educate the public at-large about the life-saving properties of automatic fire sprinklers. So, if you meet the contest requirements and want to learn a little during the process, please enter and good luck! Relatives of AFSA staff or National AFSA board members may not enter the contest.

Project Yellow Light – Hunter Garner Scholarship
Deadline: April 1, 2021
Project Yellow Light is a scholarship competition designed to bring about change. As an applicant you have one clear mission: encourage your peers to develop and embrace safe driving habits. Too apply, you must create a video or radio spot designed to motivate, persuade and encourage your peers to not drive distracted. You have a unique opportunity to play a key role in spreading this important message. You can speak to your peers on this subject in a way that adults cannot. The more lives you can impact, the more lives you can save. For the video competition, in both the high school and college categories, the first-place winner will receive a scholarship in the amount of $5,000. Second-place finisher will receive $2,000. Third-place finisher will receive $1,000. For the radio competition, first place will receive $2,000.

American Foreign Service Association (AFSA) National High School Essay Contest
Deadline: April 5, 2021
The United States has many tools to advance and defend its foreign policy and national security interests around the world-from diplomatic approaches pursued by members of the Foreign Service, to the range of options available to the U.S. military. In countries affected by or vulnerable to violent conflict, peacebuilding tools are important additions to the national security toolkit. In a 1,000-1,250-word essay, identify how members of the Foreign Service work with other civilian parts of the U.S. Government to promote peace, national security and economic prosperity. Your essay should focus on a specific challenge to U.S. peace and prosperity, and must include one example of the work of the Foreign Service and one or more examples of collaboration between America’s diplomats and other civilian (i.e. non-military) U.S. Government agencies or organizations.Students whose parents are not in the Foreign Service are eligible to participate if they are in grades nine through twelve in any of the fifty states, the District of Columbia, the U.S. territories, or if they are U.S. citizens attending high school overseas. Students may be attending a public, private, or parochial school. Entries from home-schooled students are also accepted. The winner receives $2,500, a trip to Washington, D.C., and an all-expense paid educational voyage courtesy of Semester at Sea.

Diabetes Scholars Foundation
Deadline: April 6, 2021
The Diabetes Scholars Foundation’s college scholarship program is available to incoming freshmen with Type 1 diabetes who are US citizens or permanent residents seeking a higher education at an accredited four-year university, college, technical, or trade school. This scholarship recognizes students who have high academic performance, are actively involved in the diabetes community, participate in community and/or extra-curricular activities and who have demonstrated that they are successfully managing the challenges of living with diabetes. Diabetes Scholars Foundation scholarships are not based on financial need. Students complete one application to be considered for over 40 scholarships ranging from $1,000 to $5,000 each.

The American Legion Legacy Scholarship
Deadline: April 15, 2021
Since the inception of The American Legion Legacy Scholarship in 2001 following the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, The American Legion has offered its support to the children of fallen post-9/11 servicemembers through this scholarship. Beginning with the 2017 award year, The American Legion expanded the scholarship to include children of VA-rated, post-9/11 veterans with a combined disability of 50 percent or higher. Their organization remains committed to honoring the memory and service of fallen and disabled comrades by ensuring their children are afforded the best possible educational opportunities. Multiple scholarships of up to $20,000 are awarded.

College JumpStart Scholarship
Deadline: April 15, 2021
The College JumpStart Scholarship is an annual, merit-based competition — financial need is not considered — that is open to 10th-12th graders, college students and non-traditional students. The main requirements are that you are committed to going to school and can express your goals for getting a higher education. The first place prize is a $1,000 scholarship to help cover educational expenses. This award can be used at any college or university in the United States. To apply for the College JumpStart Scholarship you must meet the following requirements: (1) High school 10th-12th grader, college student or non-traditional student; (2) U.S. citizen or legal resident; (3) Attend or plan to attend an accredited 2-year, 4-year or vocational/trade school in the U.S.; (4) Be committed to using education to better your life and that of your family and/or community.

The Ayn Rand Institute – Anthem

Students must select from one of three topics listed on the website and write an essay. Essays will be judged on whether the student is able to argue for and justify his or her view – not on whether the Institute agrees with the view the student expresses. Judges will look for writing that is clear, articulate and logically organized. Winning essays must demonstrate an outstanding grasp of the philosophic meaning of Anthem.

E-waste Scholarship
Deadline: April 30, 2021
This scholarship winner will receive a $1,000 award. The purpose of this scholarship is to help you understand the impact of e-waste and what can be done to reduce e-waste. You must be a high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior or a current or entering college or graduate school student of any level. Home schooled students are also eligible. There is no age limit. You must also be a U.S. citizen or legal resident. Complete the application form including a 140-character message about e-waste. The top 10 applications will be selected as finalists. The finalists will be asked to write a full length 500- to 1,000-word essay about e-waste.

OU/Thunder Scholarship
Deadline: April 30, 2021
Entrants must be Oklahoma state residents and high school seniors who will graduate during the 2020-2021 academic year. Entrants must apply for acceptance to the University of Oklahoma as a first-time freshman in the fall of 2021 as a full-time student. Entrants must be able to attend a select Oklahoma City Thunder home game to be eligible.The OU/Thunder Scholarship Committee will select five (5) scholarship recipients. Each recipient will receive two (2) Oklahoma City Thunder tickets and a $1,000 scholarship to The University of Oklahoma.

The $1000.00 Pureland Supply Scholarship is available to students who have been accepted to an accredited trade school, vocational college, technical school or community college for the study of trade, craft, or labor occupations. This Scholarship is available to all high school juniors and seniors as well as all students currently registered in any postsecondary institution. There is no age restriction. Fifth Month Scholarship

One is the loneliest number. Three is a crowd. Then there is five. What’s so special about five? Well, for starters, this lucky number could help you win a $1,500 scholarship. Leavitt Machinery (LM) Scholarship Program
Deadline: May 31, 2021
To be eligible, applicants must be currently enrolled or expect to be enrolled in a degree program (2 years in length or greater) by September. Students must have a GPA of 3.0 or higher, be a U.S. resident or Canada resident and must also attend a school in Canada or the US. Applicants must submit an essay outlining a situation they have been involved in or someone they know has been involved in where better safety procedures would have prevented injury. They must explain, in detail, what safety procedures should have been in place and how they would have prevented the injury.

Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences Foundation Scholarships

The AIAS Foundation Scholarships support aspiring student game-makers in undergraduate or graduate level programs who are planning on pursuing a career in development or leadership. Student applicants must be a full-time undergraduate student or a graduate student attending an accredited college or university during the 2021-22 academic school year. Also eligible are video game early professionals and recent graduates within their first two years in the industry. Early professional applicants must intend to pursue a career in any aspect of game development including but not limited to: art, animation, programming, engineering, game direction, game design, sound design, law, marketing, and business administration.
